Below is the interview transcript

Nasr: When Osama forbid you travel alone, Is Osama on the fact that concern you? Is (for example) Osama worried about Taliban men (will bother you)?

AS: At one point, bin Laden once told me, that he was very worried and fear the possibility of Taliban fighters would turn against him. Osama also never thought a moment Taliban fighters may be resigned and require considerable funds. And bin Laden also had said the possibility the United States could pay to get rid of the Taliban fighters. Osama also once told me, He had some differences with Mullah Omar and other Taliban leaders. They could have walked alone, and Osama was once thought unlikely that he constantly stay with them.

Nasr: Who are the people who are considered closest to Osama?

AS: He always mention the name of Mullah Omar. Osama often having serious talks with Mullah Omar. In addition there are Abu-Sulaiman and Abu-Hafs Ghayth (aka Mohammad Atef, a close friend of Osama. He is an attack plan strategy specialist. He was killed by U.S. bombing in Afghanistan). Osama was always with one of them when travelling secretly.

Nasr: Does Osama have a special guardian?

U.S.: Osama command a quite large commando troops. They are the children of young Mujahedeen Arab tribes. In addition, bin Laden also has a number of combat vehicles normally used when in the midst of the army and when travelling with them.

Nasr: Did Osama was talking to you about his intention to attack the United States?

AS: He never talked about his desire to attack the United States. Osama just explain to me about the hegemony of the United States and cooperation between the U.S. relationship with Israel. However, every time Osama was always stressed to me, that he has a great plan. That he has dedicated his life to deal with them. He always repeated the statement to me, that the United States has been insulting Arabs, trampling on the Arab national pride. In addition, bin Laden also told me that he had an army of young fighters which is quite a lot. The young fighters hate the United States, and they are willing to sacrifice themselves for jihad against them (United States).

Nasr: How Osama reply to U.S. accusations that he was behind the embassy bombings in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam?

AS: I always listen to the speeches he excitedly said, the United States is the first enemy . That the U.S. has spread problem in our region. And there is nothing wrong, if we are trying to survive and defend themselves by killing and fighting them. United States deserved it. Mujahin young fighters who conduct suicide bombings have received God's guidance to give lessons to the Americans.

Nasr: Have you ever wondered whether he was behind this attack?

U.S.: Never.

Nasr: Why did not you ask?

AS: He does not like to talk about the issue to me. I know him very well, Osama will be angry with me when I tried to ask him the attack case. I better not ask, rather than our relationship to be problematic and not harmonious.
